Job Title: OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Role:-

The role is to ensure that all funeral parlours are well maintained and all arrangements are in place. In addition, the funeral parlour operations executive has to manage the reservations of the parlours.

Responsibilities:-

Ensure all parlours are cleaned in a timely manner for efficient turnaround


Ensure all equipment in the parlours are operational and well maintained


Establishment of processes and manage operations of Funeral Parlour


Prepare the funeral parlour in accordance to the religion and wishes of the bereaved family


Ensure that reserved parlours are recorded in the booking system


Overview and Maintenance of building facility


Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:-

3-5 years' experience at a funeral parlour or in the funerary industry Industry Knowledge of religious, cultural, customs and burial practices Independent self-starter with strong problem solving and organising skills Conversant with basic computer software Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays Building Management / Managing Agent / Hospitality experience are encouraged to apply Those with embalming or columbarium experience are encouraged to apply Those without industry experience but have an interest in elevating the after-life industry are also welcome to apply.
