Operations Manager

to lead our project delivery and operations functions.

Role Overview

-----------------

The Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end execution of solar PV projects - from design and pre-construction, to procurement and installation. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical knowledge of solar systems, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.


You will lead a team handling pre-construction approvals, design, procurement, and site troubleshooting -- with your focus on

scheduling, planning, and ensuring smooth project delivery

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Construction & Design

-----------------------------------

Coordinate with owners, sales team, and site workers to ensure compliance and approvals. Oversee

design validation

: module layout, stringing plans, guard rails, cat ladders, and other safety/structural requirements.

Schedule and plan site visits

pre-installation (execution carried out by team members). Maintain

pre-construction workflow schedules

and ensure projects clear requirements on time.

Schedule and plan overall project timelines

, ensuring resources and deliverables are aligned for smooth execution. Serve as the

point of escalation

for complex precon problems (e.g., unusual rooftops, special safety structures, customer-specific requirements).

2. Procurement & Supply Chain

Manage procurement for panels, inverters, mounting structures, cranes, and materials. Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, and track shipping schedules. Oversee inventory management and ensure timely delivery to sites.

3. Team Leadership

-----------------------

Manage and mentor direct reports handling design, precons, procurement, and site operations. Ensure workload prioritization (precons being the most time-intensive). Develop SOPs and improve efficiency in project delivery.

Schedule and plan team resources

to match project demands, ensuring timely completion.

Qualifications & Skills

----------------------------

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

Minimum 3 years' experience

in solar EPC, construction, or related industries. Strong knowledge of PV system design, regulatory processes, and construction practices. Proven experience in

project scheduling, resource planning, and operational oversight

. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to problem-solve under time pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
