Job Description

  • Supervise Rental operation include mechanics * To work with and advise sales person on available machines and attachment or accessories for rental or sales according to customer requirements Supervise Rental operation include mechanics To work with and advise sales person on available machines and attachment or accessories for rental or sales according to customer requirements To coordinate with workshop and mechanics for machines status and readiness to delivery for rental, sales or customer machine after repair To conduct machine pre-delivery inspection and issue checklist for all rental or customer repair machines and take photos before delivery, all photos shall be kept in the system To coordinate with logistic dept for delivery and/or collection of machines regardless whether it is rental, sales or customer machine after repair To conduct inspection for all machine return from rental, take photos and issue report, to inform customer immediately if the machine condition is bad or any damage or missing part Prepare damage claim quotation to customer if the machine is found damaged or having missing parts To assign and work with both internal and mobile mechanics on the daily servicing or repair for all machines (rental and sales) and keep service reports/records in the system To liaise with and assign mobile mechanic on urgent breakdown request from various sites To issue purchase requisition form (PR) to spare parts department for required spare parts for repair/servicing and keep records on which machine have these spare parts being used To conduct inspection for sales or customer owned machine send in for repair and issue report to customer on the required repair work and issue quotation for the required repair To follow up repair quotation endorsement from customer if they confirmed the repair prior the commencement of the repair job To issue repair invoice for payment once the repair job is done and machine delivered to or collected by customer To do filling for repair invoice after acknowledgement is done To assist in answering of customer service or breakdown calls and assign technician for the job To assist project site works such as machine installation and removal if required Arrange PE for new application or renewal of air compressor Air Receiver Tank Certification for rental or sales machines and arrange Accounts to issue payment to PE once certification is done Arrange PE for new application or renewal of boom and scissor lifts LP certificate and crane LM certificate and arrange Account to issue payment to PE once certification is done Ability to do multitasking job and work beyond normal working hour if necessary Experience and qualification: . Min 3-year experience in handling and repair of construction equipment such as generators, air compressors, welding machines, forklifts, rollers, excavators, wheel loaders etc . Fluent in spoken and written of English language, able to communicate in Chinese, Malay or other language is an added advantage . ITE certificate in mechanical or electrical will be preferred but candidate with GCE O' or N' level education with above working experience are welcome to apply . Preferably posses with class 3 driving license but not compulsory
