What You Will Deliver

• Assist in coordinating all aspects of logistics operation
• Assist manager in executing daily operations to achieve the monthly and quarterly KPI and business results in the department
• Assist manager in implementing new strategic initiatives as well as contribute with ideas for effectively scaling up the operations
• Assist in budget planning for logistics operations and monitor expenses to maintain cost efficiency
• Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources such as vehicles, equipment, and manpower to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness
• Build up subcon discipline and ramp up subcon fleets
• Recruit, train, and induct employees to achieve and maintain a designed staffing pattern
• Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency enhancement within the logistics workflow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and best practices
• To handle incoming calls and requirements from drivers & clients
• Be prepared to handle unexpected logistical challenges and implement contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to the supply chain
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines pertaining to logistics operations

Who you are

• Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in using logistics software and supply chain management tools
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Steps up and oversees operations accountability in the absence of the operations manager
• Keen on problem-solving but also works on preventing the issue from the root cause
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams, vendors, and customers
• Possesses Microsoft Office knowledge, Versafleet is a bonus
• Possess a Class 3/3A license would be a plus
• At least 3 years of Logistic Industry experience with prior supervisory or assistant management experience
• Able to work under pressure and peak deliverables
• Able to work shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays
