Job Description

:

• To have basic knowledge of wastewater treatment including pre-treatment, biological treatment, sludge separation and related applications in a wastewater treatment plant.
• Assist to develop, maintain and optimise all process documents including SOP, RA, training material, etc.
• Evaluate, report and/or troubleshoot any equipment or process problems that affect the operation target of the Plant.
• Support environmental compliance by monitoring all the plant inlet, operating and effluent data to ensure corrective action is taken when needed.
• Perform operational duties in the plant in accordance with SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and training including assisting with water sampling and analysis, loading, dosing, unloading and maintenance as required.
• Provides proactive support to the Engineer or Plant Manager to ensure the wastewater plant is operating to maintain safety, environmental, and operational priorities at the optimum production level.
• Perform calculations for determining process parameters, mass balance and material balances.
• Support any other site activities as delegated by the Engineer or Plant Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a recognised Diploma or Vocational / National Technical Certificate (Nitec) in related Engineering
• Acquired at least 2 years of relevant experience in wastewater
• Possess analytical skills with experience in troubleshooting is a definite advantage
• Able to perform independently and work well with others
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Resilient, able to perform under pressure and can work both independently and in a team environment.

Incumbent will be placed in Jurong Island at Client\'s vicinity with shuttle transport provided at Jurong East MRT or at Tuas South Client\'s vicinity
