Job Description


Overview:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the day-to-day activities within the Rhinestahl facility including tactical procurement and fulfillment of all purchased materials and services as required, office activity management, and warehouse & logistics management. Responsibilities:

  • Identify local suppliers for Services business needs. This includes Tool repair, Load Testing, and Calibration.
  • Develop relationships and maintain frequent communication with local suppliers and confirm ship dates and determine arrival times, ensuring updated information is entered in Epicor to communicate across the company.
  • Create purchase orders and/or jobs as needed in Epicor to repair, calibrate or upgrade customer RMA\'s to current drawing revision.
  • Support Corporate supply team on identification of new tooling suppliers.
  • Support Supplier Development and Quality teams by facilitating supplier visits and audits when needed.
  • Work with Quality department to get local suppliers approved through new supplier process.
  • Manage inbound and outbound warehouse activities, coordinate logistics and keep transactions up to date in ERP system.
  • Coordinate with shipping personnel in arranging dedicated couriers or air transport in emergency situations.
  • Coordinate order shipment troubleshooting and communications with suppliers and logistics.
  • Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures as necessary.
  • Monitor and coordinate office activities including contractor management, IT related maintenance, invoicing, and expenses.
  • Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • Education
      • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
    • Work experience
      • 3-5 years related professional experience in purchasing / supply chain / logistics
      • Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Customer advocate
    • Job specific attributes/skills
      • Computer knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Project
      • Experience with ERP systems (EPICOR a plus)
      • Read and interpret all tooling blueprints and specifications
      • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting
      • Attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Ability to motivate coworkers and subordinates
      • Ability to travel to visit supply base and to the US office
      • Oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization. Must be able to successfully interact with all internal departments to meet their needs.
