We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers.About the job:Job Purpose & ObjectivesWork in the Operations Middle Office team in Singapore which handles predominantly Trade Finance, Guarantees, Loans and some Remittances;1 year contract position with potential to renew or conversion to permanent position.Key ResponsibilitiesTo handle customer enquiries regarding mainly trade finance transactions; liaise with counterparties regarding documents discrepancies after checking by Hub/ back office.Remit Trade Finance documents and processing of loans (mainly trade-related loans);Review of Midas system transactions and reconciliations after input by Hub;Prepare/check Guarantees Letters / fees invoices etcFunding for loan drawdown and rollover;Prepare instructions for Loans/Guarantees/Trade Finance for input by Hub;Setup/ create customer record in Midas and input all authorized signatories/ directors/ beneficiary owners;Download SWIFT AMH messages;Perform market price checks and enquiry in Trade Finance Registry;Check account opening forms and documents;Handle remittances & provide month-end bank statements to customers;Follow up un-reconciled Nostro items with counterparties;Prepare reports required for regulatory or internal purpose;Handle audit confirmation requests from customers;Assist on World-check and FIRCO checks as and when required;Assist on other duties/ reports or back-up functions as assigned by the Head of Production Management.Qualification & ExperienceAt least 5 - 8 years hands-on experience in Trade Finance;Experience in Loan administration;Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Banking / International Trade / Business Administration / Finance or similar.Knowledge & SkillsUCP600 & ISBP knowledge required.Able to handle full set of Import/ Export documents including LC and all related document checking, financing, discounting, advising, collection, SBLC etc.Good knowledge and familiarity with Singapore banking regulations/ practices and regulatory reporting requirements.PC skills words, excel etc.Experience with transition to new system or project handling will be advantageous.LanguageFluent in written and spoken English.
