"The role will be as a Business Analyst working on the Transformation team within NFRR, Tax and Credit Reporting Operations. The key purpose of the role is to work in tandem with project managers to support deploying change within bank's Non Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) capability which includes Transaction Reporting. Responsibilities broadly comprise working with subject matter experts to document requirements or processes on multiple and varied change initiatives which are either regulatory mandated or discretionary in nature.

The extent of the Transformation team's involvement in projects depends on the ownership, nature, scale and complexity of each. For some projects the team manages the initiative from inception through to implementation of the solution. For others, the team is accountable for just part of the project life cycle, such as production of a business case and requirements or co-ordination of user acceptance testing. In delivering a project, the team works closely with the Transaction Reporting Controls Group, Global Markets Operations functions, as well as other stakeholders including the Front Office/COOs, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal and Tax.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include participating in and/or owning the following activities:

• Problem analysis and solution
• Managing discrete aspects of small to large scale projects
• Co-coordinating activities across the project team
• Report on progress against plan to project manager for assigned work/deliverables

• Maintaining and publishing project documentation in particular impacts assessments, business requirements and process maps (As is or Future state)
• Creating and maintaining Regulatory Traceability Matrix throughout the project life cycle
• Contributing to all aspects relating to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test approach, test cases, test execution and defects / resolution management

• Meeting all global Change policies and requirements (ECM) consistently

• Running working groups and working sessions as required

• Supporting or lead acceptance testing in line with testing strategy where applicable
• Conducting post-implementation reviews in order to draw out lessons learnt and ensure benefit realization.
• Participating in the continuous improvement of processes and quality standards.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to build an extensive network across operations; requiring interaction with front office, support operations and technology.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

• Serving as a primary contact to project managers for any analysis related work
• Communicating, influencing and negotiating to obtain or leverage necessary resources
• Creating a clear, coherent approach to conduct analysis during project setup and execution
• Ensuring clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities, in particular vis a vis those performed by project managers, system analysts and Operations SMEs/analysts
• Integrating knowledge of end-to-end business process into planning and decision making
• Encouraging the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of work stream and project risks
• Performing reviews of work streams, processes and supporting technology activities"

". Significant experience working in business analysis

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including to succinctly summarize complex problem statements for senior audience
• Attention to details, and willingness to work on technical details
• Working knowledge of one or more of the APAC or global transaction reporting jurisdictions (e.g. MAS, JFSA, HKTR, MIFID2 etc.)
• Strong business partnering skills with individuals across the organization

As a Business Analyst your qualifications will ideally include:

• Educated to degree level
• Business Analysis experience gained in Financial Services, especially Investment Banking
• Knowledge of structured analysis methods such as Use Cases writing, Business Process Modelling or qualification such as IIBA
• Product Knowledge: global markets products incl OTC Derivatives and Securities
• Knowledge of sales/trading and post trade processing
