OPTICAL GROUND STATION ENGINEER - SPACE LASER COMMUNICATIONS

We are seeking a highly motivated Optical Ground-Station Engineer to join our team. This is a multidisciplinary role that requires expertise in mechanical, optical, and electrical design, as well as experience in research and development and software prototyping. As an Optical Ground-Station Engineer, you will work alongside our experienced team to design, develop, and maintain our ground station systems. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and testing mechanical and optical components for our ground station systems
• Developing electrical systems and hardware for ground station systems.
• Conducting research and development to improve the performance and efficiency of our ground station systems.
• Developing software prototypes to support our ground station systems.
• Collaborating with other team members and R&D organizations, preparing joint experiments proposals, and developing prototypes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Optical Engineering
• Experience in mechanical and optical design, electrical design, and software development
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Experience in research and development, including the ability to design and conduct experiments and analyze data
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
