ByteDance Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experiences in data center networking on a massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for buildout, delivery and daily operation of ByteDance's global OTN infra

• Responsible for high level and low level design, road-map and standardization of ByteDance's OTN

• Responsible for OTN automation and architecture optimization

• Improve OTN availability and efficiency

• As a team member, responsible for ByteDance's global datacenter buildout and operations
  

• Expert knowledge on optical transportation, 3+ years experience of OTN solution, system design, architecture, service delivery and operation

• Hands on experience of major OTN devices, such as Ciena, Nokia, Infinera etc.

• Good troubleshooting skills, able to handle various OTN issues

• Self-motivated, good communication and written skills.

• Team player and participate Bytedance network global on call rotation.

• Network knowledge, such as TCP/IP, BGP is preferred
