About Our Client
Our client is a local multinational technology and engineering group in the aerospace, smart city as well as defence and public security sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient techniques for fast, optimized data access and transfer of distributed or networked database systems
- Design databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability.
- Set up database clusters, backup, or recovery processes.
- Analyse Database tables access traffic and optimize the design.
- Do database performance tuning, reindexing and house keeping.
- Design database for High Availability and Disaster Recovery sites.
- Ensure database integrity with proper and accurate data base synchronization.
- Responsible for data security and personal data protection.
- Document and communicate database schemas, using accepted notations.
- Compute database sizing for storage.
- Create and enforce database development standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degrees in the following subjects can be included:
- Computer science
- Computer software/computer systems engineering
- Computer systems and networks
- Data Analytic and Data Science
- An analytical mind
- An ability to learn new technologies quickly
