We are looking for a motivated

OSS System Support Engineer

to join our team supporting the

SunVizion OSS system

(Fiber Optical Network Resource and Service Management Domains) deployed for a leading telecommunications operator in Singapore.


The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line support and, over time, take on second-line support responsibilities. Communicate effectively with the second- and third-line support teams in Poland to meet agreed

KPI

targets. Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and implementation partners. Analyze software incidents reported by the customer and resolve issues locally when possible. Escalate complex issues to the remote support team in Poland with comprehensive diagnostic information. Verify new versions of the SunVizion product prior to deployment. Support customers and partners during new version installations, ensuring adherence to defined maintenance windows. Maintain proactive, transparent communication with all stakeholders to meet contractual obligations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of

IT networking

and

telecommunications

(knowledge of

FTTH

and

GPON

technologies is a plus). Familiarity with

system integration principles

(Web Services, SOAP, REST, synchronous/asynchronous integration patterns). Basic knowledge of

databases

and

SQL

skills is advantageous.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel occasionally to Poland for collaboration, training, and knowledge-sharing with the remote team.
