We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Senior/Platform Support Engineer to join our team in maintaining and enhancing business-critical systems and shared platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact systems using modern technologies such as Java, Python, and open-source observability tools, while contributing to the development of cloud-native applications.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

include

Platform Maintenance & Enhancement

+ Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of issuer/data shared systems through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
+ Collaborate with solution vendors and internal platform specialists to deliver enhancements and changes into production environments.

Observability & Monitoring

+ Develop and improve in-house observability tools using Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana to support trading and clearing operations.
+ Implement monitoring solutions and dashboards to detect anomalies and ensure system health.

Compliance & System Hygiene

+ Maintain compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
+ Address system vulnerabilities, support audit activities, and ensure platform hygiene through regular patching and evidence collection.

Operational Support

+ Perform application recovery, non-functional testing, and verification activities, including support during off-hours and weekends.
+ Investigate and resolve application issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.

Job Requirements

Key Requirements

are

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution. 5-7 years of experience as a Software Developer or IT System Analyst. Strong hands-on experience with: +

Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Python

Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

- deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Linux and Windows OS

- application support and maintenance
Experience with open-source observability tools (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) is highly preferred. Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, SQL, PowerShell). Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Willingness to support production systems during weekends and off-hours. A mindset focused on operational excellence and production reliability.
