About the job Outbound Customer AdvocateOur US-based client-- a leading provider of managed physical medicine in the United States -- set up their first Philippine office in Mandaluyong last 2020. They are continuously expanding their services, and need experienced Healthcare BPO associates to be part of their team!The Outbound Customer Advocate acts as a liaison between the provider and adjuster/case manager, providing updates to the client on Workers' Compensation patients during physical medicine treatment. The role entails tracking patient progress from the Initial Evaluation to closure by obtaining relevant case updates from providers, maintaining the integrity of the case file and related documents, and communicating professionally and effectively with the customer.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage claims and monitor case status by confirming patient attendance and obtaining treatment notes from network providers, and addressing any concerns regarding compliance
  • Properly update all case related data to the company's database/platform * Track and relay authorization to our providers as directed by the clients, with confirmations to the adjuster and Nurse Case Manager
  • Be responsive and knowledgeable regarding the client's unique needs and respond appropriately
  • Build approachable, professional relationships with providers and referring customers * Comply with HIPAA and URAC guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess a college degree in any field (Nursing/PT/OT degree is a plus but not required)
  • Must have experience in BPO industry
  • Possess impeccable customer service skills with 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience with outbound calls preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail orientated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and general computer literacy, working with dual screens
  • Time management and strong organizational skills required
  • Willing to work any assigned shift during a work week in Mandaluyong City
