Our client is an established firm in the legal industry in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with Complainants and apprise them of the requirements under the LPA requirements
Administrating/assisting of Legal Profession (Solicitors' Accounts) Rules, (intervention into the client account of law practices and inspections and all other regulatory matters).
Drafting of correspondence for regulatory matters including mandatory notices under the LPA, meeting agendas/ minutes/matters arising for all disciplinary matters/ committee work and regulatory matters
Draft & prepare Annual Report for the respective Committees handled by Regulatory Department
Information on disciplinary records upon receiving the request from both internal/external agencies
Accurate statistics on disciplinary matters for AGM as well as other requests from both internal/external agencies
Update Master File Register and disciplinary records in CRM in a timely manner and ensure the integrity of date/information entered
Appointment, scheduling and administration of mediators and members
Prep slides for seminars/presentations given by the Regulatory Department
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Law or Legal
3 - 5 years of working experience preferably in the litigation department of a Singapore law practice
Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in writing and verbal communication skills
Multi-task efficiently, whilst maintaining a high quality of work and attention to detail within tight deadlines
Self-motivated, resourceful and good team player with good administrative and organisational skills
Strong people management skills, with high EQ
Highly ethical, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
