Link Hotel Singapore is an award-winning heritage boutique hotel situated at the heart of Tiong Bahru estate, known to be Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s oldest housing estate and the most charming neighborhood. Officially opened its door in 2007, Link Hotel Singapore was the first and only hotel to be converted from conserved art deco apartment blocks that were built by Singapore Housing Development Board (HDB) in the 1950s and 1960s. The hotel comprises of 2 conserved art deco apartment blocks, known as Lotus Block & Orchid Block and are connected by the Link Bridge.

Position Summary: The Housekeeping Attendant (Bed Linen Stripper) plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Room Maintenance:

• Remove bed linens in checkout rooms, spray chemicals in the bathroom and vacuuming the floor.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment, including vacuum cleaners and cleaning tools.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance department.

Defect Identification:

• Identify and report any defects, damages, or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
• Report any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Safety Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• No experience required but previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Understanding of safety and hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to start work immediately or short notice will be an advantage.
