URGENTClosing Date : 15 Jun (12noon)Contract Period: From 04 Jul 2022 to 26 Oct 2023. Start Date: 04 Jul 2022 or after the issuance of LOA whichever is later End Date: 26 October 2023 About 13 months ( about 52 schooling weeks ) Estimated 780 Hours (exclude Mar,June, Sept ,Nov and Dec School Holidays )Personnel to be deployed at the following hours: Mondays: 8:30am to 2:15pm (inclusive of 45min lunch break) Wednesdays: 8:30am to 2:15pm (inclusive of 45min lunch break) Thursdays: 8:30am to 2:15pm (inclusive of 45min lunch break) There will be no claim for lunch break . For school holidays, personnel will be notified by the Vice-principal on the actual working day. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays In the event that Monday, Wednesday and Thursday falls on a day of major examinations/ school holidays/ public holiday, the Personnel may be required to report on another day within the week/month. The exact working schedule will be confirmed by the school upon award of contract. Personnel will be notified by the Vice-Principal if there is a need to report for work for additional ad-hoc sessions, giving at least 48 hours notice.The Services required are set out as follows: System Support Follow school's SOP on referral system for helping students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health problems. Implement strategies for early identification of students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health problems for early intervention. Provide consultation to school management on school counselling matters. Provide input and advise on psychological aspects of child/adolescent development and identified student needs to Student Development Team / Head of Department / Year Heads for their planning of school-wide student development programmes.Preventive Programmes Identify, customise or develop and implement programmes for students at-risk, based on their identified needs. Design and create resources for at-risk students who need additional help in the area of social and emotional development.Responsive Services Provide individual/group counselling to students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health problems, including provision of educational and career counselling where indicated. Maintain proper documentation in terms of case notes and reports. Provide consultation to staff on how to support students who have been referred for counselling. Conference and work with relevant school personnel regarding students being counselled. Support the Head School CARE Officer in managing crisis in school by providing direct crisis intervention to students in distress.Administrative Ensure handover of cases as per school's SOP. Relevant materials are returned or surrendered as stated in the confidentiality undertaking.Others The awarded Contractor shall sign the 'Undertaking to Safeguard Official Information' in Annex C. The Personnel is required to comply with MOE's Ethical Standards for School Counsellors in Singapore. Failure to adhere to the expectations may result in contract termination. Company's ability to provide youth-based engagement programmes during term time or school holidays.The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Qualification : All personel supplied must be a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association For Counselling found in the Directory of Registered Counsellors ([ Link removed ] ) To substantiate your qualification and registration with Singapore Assocication for Counselling with supporting documents in GeBIZ. All Personnel supplied shall preferably be registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE). At least a university degree in professional counselling. Salary ranges from $40 - $50 per hour depending on relevant working experience.Skill & Experience : Trained Counsellor/Social Worker/Psychologist/Para-counsellor with relevant professional counselling qualifications and working experiences with children/youth. Personnel is receiving ongoing supervision from a trained clinical supervisor by providing written confirmation on receiving clinical supervision, stating name and training of supervisor and frequency of supervision Have at least 3 years of counselling-related experience, possesses skills related to rapport building, effective interpersonal interactions, problem-solving and programme planning and implementation. Experience in designing, planning and facilitating group guidance programmes for students.
