We are looking for a Partnerships Executive/Manager to add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities for the team in Singapore. This role is meant to drive our payments volume, through raising brand awareness and acquiring new customers through partnerships, eventually contributing to the growth of our revenue.

You will be an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong determination and communication skills, with a proven track record in sourcing, pitching, negotiating and executing partnerships. Keeping abreast of trends and market conditions to create new partnerships, while deepening existing partnerships to drive revenue outcomes. Partners range across large corporates like financial institutions, to tech companies and SMEs.

Requirements

What will you do:

The Partnership team plays a significant role in scaling and driving our growth. Creating alternative channels to drive access into our target customer segments. In this dynamic role, you will spearhead our partnership growth and strategy, before executing against these plans for growth to come to life.
  • Build and improve our current partnership models with various companies, developing a plan to acquire partners in key target segments.
  • Prospect and generate opportunities into partnerships, while generating insights on how various industries reach their respective customer segments
  • Develop and pitch partnership proposals based on detailed understanding of partner\xe2\x80\x99s needs, working closely with internal stakeholders like product, marketing, compliance and operations to ensure feasibility
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to close partnership deals
  • Effectively communicate and work with partners and internal stakeholders to bring initiatives to life, creating tangible uplift in our business core metrics
  • Design joint go-to-market plans with partners including marketing launch and comms, run training sessions to empower partners\xe2\x80\x99 sales teams to effectively articulate our product value proposition and solution to their end-customers, organise joint events, etc
  • Evaluate partner performance against forecasts to prioritize partners,, resources and support needed to drive revenue growth.
  • Strengthen our product - collate and research on key product feedback, competitor features, providing us a strong detailed view on CardUp in the landscape and provide recommendations on new products/features
  • Attend networking events and workshops and generate leads and prospects to follow up with.
What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years of partnerships and hunting experience in Fintech
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills
  • Avid interest in partnerships and commercial roles
  • Willingness to learn and juggle multiple projects
  • Capability to work under strong pressures to deliver in a fast paced environment
  • Sheer curiosity within payments and Fintech
  • Ability to work well within short turnaround times and tight deadlines
  • Willingness to support cross functional teams with strong communication skills
  • Candidate must be adaptable to constantly changing requirements, and to be independent and highly disciplined.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Softwares, Hubspot, Metabase, Pipedrive, Qlik is a plus.
