Responsibilities To commit either weekly Saturday/ Sunday mornings and afternoons conducting a holistic art programme for children aged 2.5 - 11 years old (1.5 - 4 hrs/ day) Involves working Saturdays and/or Sundays for classes and events Explore and conceptualise groundbreaking art programmes We are looking for an art educator that: Loves to work with children and seeks to inspire them Is creative and takes risks, but also well prepared for any situations that arises in the classroom Who agrees with the values and benefits of inquiry-based discussions during art lessons to bring out the creative thinkers in children Seeks out new topics and subjects to turn into a lesson to share with children Looking to be surrounded by other creatives that believe strongly in art education and bringing art closer to children and parents Essential Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in either Early Childhood / Art Education or Teaching / Fine Arts At least 1 year of teaching and interacting with children aged 2 - 12 years old Must love to work with children and comfortable speaking to an audience Must have experience with traditional art mediums
