School of Art, Design and Media Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Part-Time Lecturer for DT2001 3D Production The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DT2001 3D Production. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in November 2022. This introductory level course will provide students with the fundamental skills required for 3D computer modelling and animation using the software Autodesk Maya. Students will be introduced to Maya and gain a creative and technical competency with modelling, character design, movement, environment and rendering. These skills will provide students with a base from which they can expand their skills in further study. Candidates should have at least a Masters and/or PhD in Digital Animation and/or Digital Effects or related field with a track record of production and creative practice in new media. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Animation and/or Digital Effects and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
