Requirements\xc2\xb7 At least 3 \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Level with credit in English1. Duty Officer - Customer Service backend Support:\xc2\xb7 Handling of Enquiries through walk-in. Through such enquires process the following:\xc2\xb7 Membership Registration (Babies can be members too, children age <7 years, foreign membership, printing of membership card)\xc2\xb7 Accounts related (fines dispute/waiver, accounts verification, checking lost price, claim returned, printing of receipt for patrons who insist on receipts, reset myLibrary username, MMS access code, manual issue library items if system offline, consent to lift block)\xc2\xb7 Lost and Found Items (collection of compliant cards, personal items, collection of school books)\xc2\xb7 Issuing of Collaterals for Services/Redemption (eg Read Bags and Cards, LOLA pins, Monsters United tokens)\xc2\xb7 Handling incidents, fire alarms (when required)\xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting and replenishing Book Bugs cards\xc2\xb7 Acknowledging/Repairing of slight damaged items (patron insists to borrow)\xc2\xb7 Attending to SBS feedback (eg unable to check in, non booked patron sat on booked seat)\xc2\xb7 Disarm alarm triggered items\xc2\xb7 Assist Roving Officer (eg attending to high enquiries, lost child, wireless@SGx) DIYREAD@Community (collection of membership cards)\xc2\xb7 No Wrong Door policy \xef\x83\xa0Assist patrons with directions/enquiries\xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting issues on patron\xe2\x80\x99s devices (phones, laptops, eReader devices) Unable to access PressReader, NLB Mobile, Libby\xc2\xb7 Programme: Online registration, queries on library programmes2. Volunteers Management\xc2\xb7 Conduct briefing for new volunteers (show the volunteer-run space, explain and demonstrate tasks like shelfreading, shelving, straightening)\xc2\xb7 Note: Every 1-3 hours, new volunteers may turn up and staff have to conduct the briefing repeatedly. Time taken to brief less than 5 volunteers: approx 15 minutes, 6-10 volunteers: approx 30 minutes).\xc2\xb7 Assist to observe on the volunteers activities and update LOs, if any tasks are done incorrectly\xc2\xb7 Attend to Volunteers\xe2\x80\x99 feedback after each shift ends which may occur daily (eg messy shelves during school holidays, feedback on other volunteer behaviour, etc)3. Other Backend Support\xc2\xb7 Assist in processing the following backend logistics\xc2\xb7 Handling key movements and visitor Log (deliveries of collaterals)\xc2\xb7 Answering calls and intercoms\xc2\xb7 Monitoring of CCTV\xc2\xb7 Making Public Announcements\xc2\xb7 Monitoring and troubleshooting systems (BBS, MMS, OPAC, Tumblebooks)\xc2\xb7 Items received for Legal Deposit
