In partnership with Christ PASTORAL TEAM MEMBER (CHILDREN'S MINISTRY) Covenant Kids (CK), the children's ministry of CCMC hopes that our children's hearts will be touched by the love of Jesus Christ. In partnership with Christian parents, we aim to raise children of destiny, who are confident in Christ and are motivated to make a difference for Him in the community. We guide every child to have a personal relationship with Christ and encourage them to develop a closer walk with Him. Responsibilities: Set in place organizational procedure and work with Church School Superintendent (CS) and Committee members to organise Children's Church Service. Identify, purchase, customise and/or develop learning materials and resources for children which engage them in Bible-learning activities. To organise seasonal special events for children including planning and organising annual key event, Vacation Bible School (VBS). Help to train and motivate teachers. Organize or identify 2 courses a year for the teachers to attend which will develop their effectiveness as teachers and/or help them grow in their spirituality. Identify, purchase, customise and/or develop teaching materials and resources for the teachers. Help train teachers to customise the teaching materials on their own where necessary. To engage parents in the Sunday School and identify areas for parents' involvement by volunteering their services in the Sunday School. Help to lead in planning and administering the total work of the Sunday School including maintaining general records for Sunday School and annual Sunday School budget. Requirements: Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong team player.
