Job Description
- Assist in preparation
- Ensure the food presentation is consistent and as per company\'s standard
- Maintain hygiene of the workstation, storage area, entire kitchen and equipment
- according to the company SOP
- Check the quality of raw and baked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Ensure sufficient inventory of ingredients and packaging
- Store all food and related items in a clean and organized arrangement
- Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reports malfunctions, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
- Follow advice and directions instructed by Pastry Chef/Chef to perform and fulfill
- tasks effectively
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Pastry Chef/Chef
- WSQ Food & Hygiene certificate
- At least 1-2 years of pastry making experience
- Good knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
- Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process
- Comfortable working long shifts if required and on weekends and PHs
