Ensure the food presentation is consistent and as per company\'s standard
Maintain hygiene of the workstation, storage area, entire kitchen and equipment
according to the company SOP
Check the quality of raw and baked food products to ensure that standards are met
Ensure sufficient inventory of ingredients and packaging
Store all food and related items in a clean and organized arrangement
Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking
Operate and maintain all department equipment and reports malfunctions, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
Follow advice and directions instructed by Pastry Chef/Chef to perform and fulfill
tasks effectively
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Pastry Chef/Chef
Education
WSQ Food & Hygiene certificate
Qualification
At least 1-2 years of pastry making experience
Good knowledge of pastry arts and ingredients
Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process
Comfortable working long shifts if required and on weekends and PHs
