We are looking for a Pastry Sous Chef - 3D Cake to be responsible in supervising all activities pertaining to Pastry Kitchen operations. You will creation and preparation of all products, in line with hygiene and food safety standards.

  • Responsible to create and design seasonal and festive pastry artistic display in pastry shop, buffets, room amenities and special events
  • Able to provide the supervisory and leadership to motivate the Pastry team to exceed in food preparation, service and profitability.
  • Responsible for artistic customization 3D cakes for our guests and support in achieving all goals designated by the Executive Pastry Chef
  • Ensure overall efficiency in 3D cake/showpiece display fabrication and ensure the general cleanliness of kitchens, equipment and utensils
  • Ensure local regulations particularly in respect to food and refuse transportation around kitchens and service corridors are followed
  • Comply and ensure hygiene policies are strictly adhered to a daily basis.
  • Conduct training on hygiene standards and perform regular inspections with outlet chefs and stewarding team
Requirements:
  • High school graduate
  • Culinary Apprenticeship
  • WSQ Certified
  • 3-5 years\' work experience in food industry
  • People and customer oriented
  • Motivator and self-starter
  • Excellent spoken, written English second language desired
