- Work closely with R&D teams to track and review running projects to methodically detect, identify and extract technical solutions and successfully capture valuable innovation to be protected through registered IPRs.
- Ensure patent filings are of high quality on commercially significant inventions by working with R&D, Business Units and Sales Regions.
- Drive and supervise sub-contracting IP Firms for conducting subsequent patent prosecution and performing periodical strategic review and filtering of the patent portfolio.
- Depending on the candidate\'s experience, responsibilities on other IP matters may be added.
Profile
Requirements
A team player able to work in multicultural environment with global teams and build lasting relationships.- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Masters degree in Electronics, Microelectronics or Semiconductor Physics.
- Preferably a qualified Patent Agent.
- Good knowledge of IP Laws.
- 5-10 years of experience as in-house attorney either in a product / service company or in an IP Firm.
- Experience in drafting, prosecuting, and managing patent portfolio.
- Availability to travel.
