Job Description

We are looking to hire a Patent Attorney with at least 5 years of experience as in-house counsel or engineer either in a product or service company or in an Intellectual Property Law Firm. You should be a Registered Patent Agent in any jurisdiction.

Description

• Work closely with R&D teams to track and review running projects to methodically detect, identify and extract technical solutions and successfully capture valuable innovation to be protected through registered IPRs
• Ensure patent filings are of high quality on commercially significant inventions by working with R&D, Business Units and Sales Regions
• Drive and supervise sub-contracting IP Firms for conducting subsequent patent prosecution and performing periodical strategic review and filtering of the patent portfolio

Profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Masters degree in Electronics, Microelectronics or Semiconductor Physics
• A team player able to work in multicultural environment with global teams and build lasting relationships.
• Preferably a qualified Patent Agent in any jurisdiction
• Good knowledge of IP Laws
• Experience in drafting, prosecuting, and managing patent portfolio
• Availability to travel
