Contract Duration: 1 Year

Working Hours and shift:

1 PSO needed for the below shift

Permanent Overnight shift (9pm to 730am)

4 days work week including weekend and PH, 4 days might be stagger shift, not in a row.

3 PSO needed for the below shifts:

Shift 1: 7 am to 4.30 pm.

Shift 2: 12 pm to 9.30 pm

5 days work week, including weekend and PH, 5 days might be stagger shift, not in a row.

Job Summary

The PSO is responsible for the effective administration and operations of the Patient Service Centre.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform and update patient registration information.
  • Perform cashiering duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Other duties include checking Medisave account holder\'s balances from CPF website; print out hardcopy and tagged this information to HIS after patient signed authorization.
  • Handle queries pertaining to doctors\' fees or patients\' hospital bill during discharge.
  • Process and respond to requests from patients received from letters, fax and e-mail as appropriate. Handles all general enquiries and if in doubt, refer to the senior staff on duty.
  • Follow up on all incomplete admissions / discharges.
  • Handling Bed and Operating Theatre Bookings after office hours /weekends /PH.
  • Keys in maternity patients\' bio-data upon receiving the completed pre-registration forms.
  • Handles all general enquiries and if in doubt, refer to the senior staff on duty.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls from patients, clinics and other organizations and deal with enquiries providing non-clinical advice and information.
  • Accompany the patients to the respective locations depending on the case type in the absence of the porter. Provide a wheelchair to the patients where and when necessary.
  • Attends to customer feedbacks and refer/update the Patient Service Executive/Manager accordingly.
  • Be accountable for your own standard of work and perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Good Communication Skills
  • 1-2 years working experience in healthcare or hospitability industry
  • Proficient in MS skills - Excel, Words, PowerPoint to handle database
