Job Description

Primary Skillset (must have)

a. Technical Skills: Proficient in banking/payment system design, data modelling, interface protocols and detailed insights on payment file formats (e.g. ISO20022, APIs, ACH, etc), including SWIFT payment fields/value mapping and validations. Awareness of banking security requirements and technical handling.


b. Analytical Skills: Strong background in banking technology, Cash Management products, payment processing and system analysis. Strong ability to analyze complex systems interaction and processes, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.


c. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating and conflict management with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.


d. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address system issues and provide timely resolutions. Market practice awareness to assess new requirements and improve operational efficiency.

Secondary Skillset (good to have)

e. Project Management: Understanding project lifecycles and able to manage technical stream deliverables and reporting using project management tools. On-time escalation to relevant parties/stakeholders is essential


f. Documentation: Ability to create comprehensive documentation, including Interface register / specifications, system architecture diagrams etc.


g. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Payment industry best practices, including regulations, standards, emerging technologies, payment trends and best practices.


h. Strong understanding of payment processing infrastructures, including: ACH, SWIFT MT/MX, Instant/FAST Payments, APIs, Virtual Account Payables/Receivables and Liquidity management
