Job Description


Asia Payroll

  • Be responsible for managing the monthly payroll end to end process including the interface with payroll vendors and finance
  • Ensure accurate and complete data management throughout the payroll cycle
  • Ensure the withholding tax and social security scheme to be in compliance with the regulations in the assigned countries;
  • Ensure data privacy standards and other internal and external data related regulations are followed;
  • Reconcile payroll with Finance including consultant payroll and coordinate with People Service Team for any payroll related entries/updates or payroll issues due to systems gap.
  • Lead the continuous improvement projects in process streamlining, simplification and vendor consolidations
HR Policies and Benefit Implementation
  • Understand the regulations for Asia countries and how they affect Aggreko HR policies, review and update the reward and benefit guidelines, HR practices/Policies based on the change of market and local regulations to ensure efficiency and compliance such as Employment Contract, Employee Handbook
  • Lead annual insurance renewal process by working with Lockton team, ensure benefit level of insurances are market competitiveness, and administrate day to day benefit administration with supplier or Lockton.
  • Provide advice and consultancy to business stakeholders / HR peers on daily basis regarding compensation and benefits issues and inquiries;
  • Ensure the employee personal records/documents to be filed in timely and correct manner in the shared drive
  • Support in ad hoc reward projects
  • Ensure ownership and a prompt response to Workday Help cases that involve payroll and benefit queries, escalating complex, risky, or sensitive cases to relevant specialists and People Services Partners.
  • Ensure Workday Help accurately reflects the nature of the query for area of responsibility.
  • Work within agreed SLA\xe2\x80\x99s
Singapore HR Administration
  • Be responsible for managing immigration requirement such as employment pass/special pass/work permit application and renewal
  • Be responsible for ensuring the tax and immigration clearance of foreign workers
  • Be responsible for union engagement on operational issues
  • Be responsible for complying with MOM portal requirement
Relationship
  • Build strong relationship with key internal clients and peer functions, e.g. Recruitment, Tax, Legal and Finance team, to ensure obtain support to allow efficient HR Operations delivery;
Experience and Requirements
  • Bachelor degree, major in human resources is a plus
  • 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in payroll function, with hands on experience in compensation and benefit
  • Good understanding of employment law and major employment regulations in Singapore, Thailand, Philippine, South Korea, Japan and China
  • Good application and knowledge on Workday
  • Data orientated and process minded
  • Proficiency in oral and written English, basic reading level of Chinese
  • Proactive attitude toward challenges and pressure
  • High numeric sensitivity & detail-oriented
  • Effective relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
