Established European Engineering MNC located @ Shenton Way urgently seek to hire a qualified specialist for the role of Payroll (Accounts) Executive.

Payroll & Billings Executive

Role summary:

This is a 1-year contract role convertible to perm.

Working within the Accounts & Finance Team. He/she will be reporting to the Accounts Payroll Team Lead, the candidate will be assisting in contributing to the payroll processing team to fully execute the task promptly with minimal errors.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, payroll deductions and loans efficiently. Conducting payroll transactions in an efficient, accurate & timely manner.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll information and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Administrating all contractors’ annual leave and sick leave entitlement and benefits.
  • Ensuring compliance by following policies and procedures.
  • Collect, compile all relevant documents and provide accurate payroll information of new hirer or termination for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Respond to payroll queries from Internal / External departments (Ops and AM/IRAS) in a timely manner.
  • Involved in the annual year-end tax reporting and reconciliation.
  • Assist in preparation of accurate statutory payroll reporting (IR8A / IR21 / CPF, etc.)
  • To assist in the preparation of the audit schedules for payroll.
  • Address to the payroll inquiries from employees promptly.
  • Analyse payroll issues and provide apt action plans.
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work and communicate well with people inside and outside of the organization
Pre-Requisites:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the payroll function.
  • Meticulous and be able to handle a high volume of headcounts.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge in handling all queries related to IRAS (Personal Income Tax).
  • Able to adapt well to a fast-paced environment, be committed and self-driven, and be able to thrive on challenges.
  • Experience in recruitment and service outsourcing.
  • Proficient in Navision or any payroll system will be an added advantage.
Other information:
  • Basic salary $3,500 – $4,000 (negotiable) + Transport allowances + AWS + VB
  • Annual leave 20 days
  • Other benefits include medical / hospitalization benefits (including TCM) & dental, birthday leave, staff insurance etc.
  • 5-day week (hybrid model)
  • Immediate / early commencement highly preferred
