The Role Peerpoint\xe2\x80\x99s Asia Client Development team is recruiting an experienced legal services client development professional, for a 4 to 6-month fixed term contract role. The role can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.

The Client Development team is a commercial team with a fantastic team spirit. Qualified candidates will be intellectually curious, commercially astute and client focused, with an enthusiasm for strategic business development, consultative pursuit of new clients and effective sales processes. Must be excited by the prospect of working directly with clients\xe2\x80\x99 heads of legal to deliver resourcing solutions for their teams. This role affords seeing the impact of your work and being in a collaborative team focused environment.

The Client Development team is responsible for managing high touch end to end client sales processes, which includes: sourcing and effectively qualifying new client leads; pitching to clients for business; establishing new and long-term client relationships; taking client briefs; sourcing suitable legal consultants; negotiating commercial terms; and closing the deal. It is a fast-moving process that requires an individual with drive, tenacity, strong organisational skills and excellent client management ability.

The position will suit individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including business development and client account management professionals who have worked at law firms and/or consulting firms (with a focus on legal services), client facing resourcing specialists and lawyers. Roles and Responsibilities Business & Strategy
  • Successfully delivering high growth strategic priorities for the business to ensure delivery against our business plan. Regular review of business performance statistics.
  • Staying abreast sector developments for informed execution of new market/sector/product plans for the business.
  • Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset and detailed understanding of market trends, competitor developments and innovations in our industry.
  • Creating and rolling out strategic business development campaigns to attract new clients and grow our existing client base.
Client Development
  • Leading meetings with key client contacts and developing strong relationships throughout the organisation.
  • Developing new business within client accounts and with new clients to drive growth and build pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Managing head of legal level relationships in a consultative and advisory and peer-to-peer capacity.
  • Identifying opportunities and effectively cross-selling A&O and the firm\'s Advanced Delivery & Solutions services to clients.
Sales
  • Effectively qualifying leads and new opportunities from existing and potential clients.
  • Taking comprehensive briefs from clients regarding their resourcing requirements.
  • Sourcing and \xe2\x80\x98matching\xe2\x80\x99 suitable candidates from our panel of consultant lawyers to client engagements.
  • Running commercial negotiations with both clients and consultants.
  • Close management and support of the consultants, from exploring opportunities through to whilst they are on placement.
Other
  • Acting as a champion and brand ambassador for Peerpoint externally in the market at industry events.
  • Represent the Peerpoint business at recruitment and consultant events, within A&O and its alumni network, and at client events. Contribute ideas to the Peerpoint team\xe2\x80\x99s wider objectives
