People and Culture Executive

The Human Resources Executive is an integral part of the People and Culture Department. From the recruitment and selection process to orientation, training, benefits administration, communication and overall employee relations, People and Culture is there for all employees. The Human Resources Executive is the first smiling face employees and applicants meet upon entering into the People and Culture Office. This position assists with general employee and applicant inquiries, handles all incoming calls, provides employment verifications, processes a variety of reports, maintains all general employment files, and assists with a variety of employee events and initiatives in addition to other administrative duties. The Human Resources Executive handles every task with integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks and handle employees' queries
  • Support the daily operations of the People and Culture Department
  • Ensure that all employees' performance reviews are received timely, and all confirmation letters are prepared in a timely manner
  • Assist all employees with medical reimbursement procedures and ensure all medical/dental/optical claims are processed in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update bulletin boards
  • Manage the employee engagement and communication initiatives
  • Support the recruitment, selection and on boarding process
  • Handle insurance and workplace safety issues
  • Assist the Learning and Development Manager on identified projects and administrative tasks
Job Requirements

We are looking for individuals who possess a passion for people from all walks of life. Applicants must have a high attention to details, be creative and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment. He / She should also fulfil the following criteria:
  • Minimum a Diploma/Degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business Management or Communications
  • At least 2 years of related Human Resource experience in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
  • A personable and matured self-starter who is able to work effectively with individuals across the various levels of the organization
  • Independent team player with the ability to multi-task.
  • A hands-on person who is proactive, driven, and resourceful.
  • Good knowledge of prevailing employment regulations.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR System such as Workday
