Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY

Serve as a business partner and subject matter expert/consultant and liaison to line leaders in determining the most effective and efficient way to execute against People Experience (PX) and business strategies.

A critical aspect to the role is to understand the business objectives and work with the business leaders to implement PX strategies that reflect business plans and contribute positive impact to business outcomes. The incumbent will also become a trusted adviser/confidante to Business Leaders participating as a full partner offering independent judgement and maintaining objectivity.

The incumbent shall direct the PX Client Facing in the areas of:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Planning, Diversity, and Performance Management
  • Support the delivery and implementation of Pfizer Tuas\xe2\x80\x99 talent review process
  • Participate and provide input to the performance management cycle during the calibration meetings
  • Guide all people managers in conducting performance management, compensation dialogues and talent review
  • Provide support to help close capability gaps within the organization, assess and validate high potential talent, and drive succession planning with business leaders
  • Plan and execute PX strategy that builds organizational and leadership capability reflecting the business strategy and the key business drivers and contribute to PX initiatives across the business function
  • Partner with the PX Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Staffing, Compensation, Leadership and Development, and apply knowledge of business context to hiring, promotion, leadership development and compensation decisions.
Change Management
  • Co-lead change management efforts, design initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategy, provide thought leadership and tools to help leaders optimize organizational effectiveness and implement organizational change

  • Facilitate the culture change process and work with Business Leaders to build leadership capability and an effective organization
  • Co-design a communication strategy to support all change process and efforts
Communications
  • Develop a site communication framework, annual communications calendar and implementation plan aligned with business imperatives and leadership directives.
  • Leverage on Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s internal digital platforms in crafting and mounting colleague communications in alignment with global guidelines
  • Identify tools and resources to assist in the effective deployment of internal communication initiatives and content roll-out.
  • Plan and creatively develop (write and edit) content in a variety of formats (e.g., emails, internal digital publications, or local site displays, etc) to serve various communication purposes, ensuring simple, clear, consistent and impactful messaging across platforms and colleague groups.
  • Where relevant, partner with internal site colleagues / committees to draft communication assets that are clear, readable, concise, and impactful.
  • Conduct periodic review of the effectiveness of the site communication strateg and implementation plan to continuously improve the framework / process for increased efficacy.
  • Partner with global and local external communications, legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment and viability of content where necessary.
  • Produce and execute site-wide PX-driven or PX-supported events in partnership with local stakeholders as may be necessary.
Colleague Relations
  • Provide business leaders with coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness, advice, and real-time counsel in addressing employee and organization issues
  • Develop and implement company-wide programs and activities to establish and maintain harmonious colleague relations
  • Advise management on situations involving colleague progressive discipline, promotions, transfers and demotion in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations
  • Ensure fair and equitable handling of performance and behavioural issues
Strategic Workforce Management
  • Develop a model to track and trend all employee related data for purpose of proactively identification of people related trends: future skills for growth, colleague engagement, turnover, and recommend feasible solutions to drive positive business outcomes
  • Embrace a proactive approach to facilitate skills development of individual contributors and leadership capabilities of people managers
Expatriate and International Assignment Management
  • Manage all expatriate and international assignment related matters and activities
PX Policies and Procedures
  • Conduct periodic communication sessions to enhance People Managers\xe2\x80\x99 understanding of policies and procedures
PX Business Partnering
  • Engage and provide PX advisory to various Business Leaders
  • Advise Management in all aspects of PX and recommends solutions to resolve day to day PX related business issues or make improvements to impact on business result
General PX Duties
  • Develop and implement PX policies and procedures to ensure that all policies comply with local statutory requirements, Pfizer global PX policies and practices and ensure competitiveness in the market
  • Manage and motivate the PX team to be high performing and motivated contributors; and to produce high quality work to meet / exceed required expectations/standards
  • Lead and/or participate in PX Projects as required and support the roll-out of PX Programs
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Managing stakeholders within Pfizer PGS Singapore across different business entities to achieve team related goals
  • Interact with local Government Authorities, Financial Auditors, Local Service Providers, etc. when necessary
EDUCATION
  • Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
  • Masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
  • At least 10 years of human resource practitioner experience
  • Experience in a large, global and complex organization would be an advantage
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and possess project management experience
  • Able to influence Business Leaders and to build trust throughout the organization
  • Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable with generating, understudying, interpreting data with good diagnostic and analytic skills
  • Handle confidential matters maturely and discreetly
  • Flexible, adaptable and responsive to change
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a complex and matrix environment
  • Able to work with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and relationship management skills
