Get to Know the Role
The People Operations Business Partner (Pops BP) plays a strategic role in aligning business objectives with partners and employees in designated departments. You will provide people expertise and counsel to management, covering a full range of HR disciplines including organisational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, career development, compensation, and workforce planning. Reporting directly to the Country Head of People Operations, this is an individual contributor role based on-site in Singapore.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Manage Employee Relations & Labour Law Compliance

• You will serve as the HR subject matter expert to ensure HR practice compliance with laws and policies, liaising with government agencies as needed.
• You will research, recommend, and execute policy changes in connection with labour relations to support business needs, while managing business impact and labour relations risks.
• You will educate employees and managers on legal guidelines, investigate violations, and interpret policies to address queries.

Strategic Business Partnering:

• You will connect challenges to People solutions, swiftly addressing risks and opportunities with strategic insight.
• You will offer thought leadership to influence business decisions and align people programmes with organisational values.
• You will support managers in performance management, rewards, retention, and talent development.
• You will engage external agencies to resolve disputes and ensure legal compliance.
• You will promote inclusion, teamwork, and high performance.

Technology and AI Leadership:

• You will foster innovation, encouraging technology adoption across all levels, embracing and promoting the philosophy that every Grabber is a technologist
• You will lead AI-driven HR programmes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
• You will use generative AI tools to analyse data, automate tasks, and improve decision-making.
• You will champion HR innovation, positioning Grab as a leader in AI integration, enhancing productivity while maintaining a human touch in People business partnering.

Workforce Planning and Data Analytics:

• You will guide workforce planning, align resources with goals, and address skill gaps through training.
• You will oversee talent deployment and anticipate future needs.
• You will leverage HR analytics to assess trends, organisational health, and demonstrate People metrics' value.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Embody the principles of Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility that define a Grabber.
• 10 or more years of experience, with at least 6 years in human resource business partnering in industries such as high-tech e-commerce, FinTech, hyper-growth companies.
• Strong expertise in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), including dispute resolution, grievance handling, and engaging with regulatory bodies/agencies
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the markets we operate in, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems, Power BI, GSuite applications, and generative AI tools to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Fluency and knowledge of the cultural landscape in Southeast Asia/Asian markets are advantageous for navigating diverse workforce dynamics.
• Leadership and strategic thinking skills, with experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas.
