About the job As the Paid Search Specialist/Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management and operation of the Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Display and Video programs for Twilio across the APAC region. From concept and planning through to execution and reporting. You will be playing a very crucial role in the journey of building and optimizing all performance marketing initiatives across the region for customer acquisition, retention and cross-selling across multiple digital platforms. The right candidate for this role is a proven marketing technologist and strategist who possesses a start-up mentality, can quickly uncover new opportunities to optimize and build, takes ownership of key tools, aligns and organizes with cross-functional teams toward one mission. Responsibilities In this role, you'll: Take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of performance media including SEM, Display and Video. You will determine appropriate media plans, bidding and targeting strategies, and conduct advanced analytics and insight generation. Manage large advertising budgets to achieve positive ROI goals strategically. Work closely with sub-regional field marketing managers and campaign managers to create advanced biddable media plans to grow our customer base and drive lead conversion, ultimately resulting in audience growth as well as sales pipeline. Be creative! Take on ad copy and social imagery with Twilio's Creative & Brand team, juggle relationships with various creative agencies and media partners. Test new approaches with intellectual curiosity innovate and continually improve channel performance. Bring strong analytical skills and experience in driving campaign performance for measurable results. You enjoy digging into the data for actionable insights to optimize your campaigns. Conceptualise and develop testing strategies. Monitor and optimise campaigns to maximise engagement & overall ROI. Tackle complex problems and simplify systems for scale and agility. Required: An 'builder' with 5+ years of experience in hands-on SEM, Display and Video advertising and regional platforms like Yahoo Japan ideally at a B2B Tech company. Hands-on experience on Paid Search (Google, Yahoo and Bing) and various display, video and programmatic platforms (GDN, DV360, YouTube particularly) Experience with performance media to acquire, engage, and cultivate users throughout the funnel. Proficiency with Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Excel / Google Sheet, Canva, Google Tag Manager preferred. Excellent organizational skills and multitask across teams, projects and priorities. Experience working across geographical regions and languages A self-starter, who can identify and investigate problems and use all available resources to find solutions Ability to manage and refine processes, from creative requests to landing page localisation. Desired: English as a core language. Fluency in one of the regional languages such as Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese or Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage. Passion for technologies. Knowledge of the telecommunication or technology industry would be a plus. Location This role will be based in our Singapore Office.
