Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility of Performance Engineering and Performance Testing Tasks

• Creating performance test scripts based on identified scenarios and optimize performance runs to maximize test execution time

• Troubleshooting issues during test script execution.

• Ability to construct performance test scripts in java or other languages to create data load either by inserting/reading data directly to MQ or create data files for load in the event the same cannot be done through load runner

• Co-ordinate with other teams to support monitoring and analysis of performance test runs

• Development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post Implementation Reviews as appropriate

• Strong knowledge of Performance tools

• In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.

• Knowledge on scripting languages

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.

• At least 3 - 5 year(s) of working experience as a Quality Assurance tester with focus on Performance Testing (hands on experience script creation, execution and troubleshooting)

• Experience in performing performance test for Banking industry is an added advantage.

• Strong experience in using test tools like HP LoadRunner, HP SiteScope, HP Diagnostics, JMeter or Any Performance Testing Tools.

• Strong programming background (C, Java, and VB scripts).

• Experience in performing different type of performance testing including load test, stress test, volume test, and endurance test.

• Experience doing performance testing on any applications or software.

• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies best practices.

• Experience with one or more coding language (Java/JavaScript/Perl) with some development background will be an advantage
