• Responsible for overall accounting aspects of Parent Company and subsidiaries
• Oversees the daily accounting operations of Back Office and provide guidance to the team to ensure that they are trained to carry out their responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Tax, GST and Withholding Tax rule, and ensure all statutory returns are submitted within deadlines
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation (e.g. FRS)
• Review, identify, recommend & establish procedures to streamline processes;
• Maintaining and developing strong relationships with relevant banks to support the company's trading portfolio as they continue to expand their trading volumes
• Manage all aspects of the company's cash management, treasury, collateral and credit risk exposure
• In charge of handling all relevant trade finance documentation including export letters of credit, corporate guarantees, account receivables, commercial contracts, bills of exchange etc.
• Overseeing the month-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and compliance to the Group's policies
• Ensure timely completion and review of monthly Balance Sheet schedules & reconciliations
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly Executive Summary to Management where required
• Support and coordinate with Head of Finance in preparation of subsidiary/branch business plans and annual budget

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree with professional accounting qualifications (i.e. Chartered Accountant)
• Familiar with MS Excel and accounting spreadsheets
• About 8-10 years of experience as a finance manager within the oil & gas industry or trading house set up.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
