Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Permitting Manager to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Accountabilities:
Primary Lendlease (LL) point of contact for all matters related to permitting on the project
Accountable for successful and timely approval of all regulatory workflows on the project including pre-consultations
Advise Client and LL management on progress of permitting activities
Responsible for scoping, procuring and managing all permitting-related consultants on the project
Provide input to the Planning team on all permitting activities and durations for preparation of the Integrated Project Schedule
Manage the Authorities\xe2\x80\x99 pre-consultation, waiver application, development control and building plan approval process as well as inspections for occupancy permit approvals
Ensure authority approvals and permits for temporary works occur to support the project timelines
Coordinate discussions with utilities services providers and manage the application approval process for all utilities that may be required on the project
Ensure contractors and vendors undertake regulatory submissions of their work as needed
Support the Design Manager to ensure processes are in place for design deliverables to be code-compliant
Promote adoption of permitting outcome that supports pragmatic and cost-efficient construction methodologies
Ensure best practice is implemented in the management of permitting documents and records
Interface regularly with the design, procurement and construction teams
Identify key project permitting risks and appropriate mitigation strategies with LL senior management
Prepare and present regular permitting reports including status, issues, achievements
Organise and lead permitting meetings with the Client, LL, Design and Permitting Consultants
Lead the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC) application and approval process
Identify and document key lessons learnt and areas of opportunity upon project completion
Desired Capabiities:
Strong understanding of Singapore permitting process and familiarity with codes & regulations.
Planning, organising and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively on tight deadlines.
Good interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills to maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Dynamic, pro-active and ability to work and deliver results under pressure
Education & Experience:
Recognised Degree in Building, Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture or related disciplines.
Min. 10 years of experience in a design consultancy, project management or EPCM firm.
Experience in life sciences industry will be beneficial but is not a pre-requisite.
Experience on large-scale Greenfield developments and working with multi-cultural international teams.
