Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of petrochemical markets, including supply, demand, pricing trends, and competitive landscape.
• Monitor and interpret market data, industry reports, and economic indicators to identify market trends and potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on market analysis, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, sales, and marketing, to support business development strategies and optimise market positioning.
• Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the petrochemical sector.
• Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and other networking events to expand professional knowledge and establish industry connections.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and risk management solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies, tools, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Petrochemical Analyst or a similar role within the commodity trading industry.
• Strong knowledge of petrochemical markets, products, and industry dynamics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Basic Python knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with risk management concepts and strategies is a plus.
