Review written order form (medication chart, medication records or prescription) to determine the drug needs of the patient
Ensuring no overdose is being prescribed
Following prescriptions as ordered, and with no toxic reactions from administration to the patients (contact physicians by adhering to correct measured amounts of medication, and compounding medications and preparing of additives
Explaining the use of drugs to patients
Informing drug prescribers of any drug interaction, adverse drug reactions
Other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
Degree in Pharmacy
Registrable with Singapore Pharmacy Council
Able to provide pre-reg opportunities
