Pharmacy Technician/$2.5 K /1 Year Contract/ Perm / Queenstown

Job Description
1) Daily Operations
- Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
- Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
- Picking, packing and labeling of medications in accordance to SOPs
- Perform billing functions
- Dispensing of medications to patients in accordance to SOPs
- Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First Expiry First Out (FEFO)
- Inventory management of the omnicells in the wards (i.e. top-up, expiry checks)
- Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
Requirements
- Possess Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
- Completed Basic Skill Test OR Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
- Have initiative and able to work independently To achieve goals of the department
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to function effectively as member of a team
- Able to prioritize and organize work well
- Flexibility to work on weekends/ public holidays occasionally
- Must be willing to work staggered shift (latest shift ends at 8pm), and rotated to work on weekends (every 3 weeks). Perm position maybe considered for senior pharmacy technicians.
- Contract Period: 1 Year/Permanent
- Salary Range: $2,500
- Working Hours: Office Hours (Mon - Fri)
- Working location: Queenstown
