Physics Tutor (O Level)

About IONX Labs

IONX Labs is a premium science learning centre specialising in O-Level and IP Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. We focus on concept mastery, exam intelligence, and high-yield frameworks, not rote memorisation.

We are expanding our Physics arm and are looking for a tutor who is comfortable both in the classroom and on camera.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

Teaching

Secondary Physics (O-Level / IP)

in small-group or 1-to-1 settings Designing

clear, structured lesson materials

aligned with exam requirements Creating

short-form educational content

for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to support IONX Labs' digital presence
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys explaining concepts simply, has a strong command of Physics fundamentals, and is open to

content creation as part of teaching impact

.

Key Responsibilities Teaching & Academic

Conduct engaging

Physics lessons

(Sec 3-4 / IP) Break down complex Physics concepts into

exam-ready frameworks

Guide students in answering

structured, data-based, and application questions

Track student progress and provide clear feedback to parents when needed

Content Creation (Must-Have)

Create

short educational videos

(15-60 seconds) for: TikTok Instagram Reels Facebook
Content may include:

Exam concept explanations Common student mistakes Study tips and exam strategies Light, student-friendly humour (school-appropriate) Comfortable appearing

on camera

(face or voice) Collaborate with IONX Labs on content ideas and scripts Filming can be done in-centre;

full editing is not required

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Strong Physics foundation (Degree or equivalent background in Physics/Engineering,

or

A/B grade for A-Level Physics) Experience teaching Secondary Physics

or

strong familiarity with the O-Level/IP Physics syllabus Comfortable creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Able to explain concepts

clearly, confidently, and concisely

Open to feedback and willing to improve both teaching and on-camera delivery

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Prior tuition centre or school teaching experience Familiarity with Singapore exam style (SEAB / MOE) Experience appearing in educational or explainer videos Basic awareness of TikTok / Instagram trends (hooks, pacing, clarity)
