Since 2013, Joy Music Studio is an established music school with multiple locations across Singapore. Offering a variety of instrument choices and professionally equipped studios, we are known for our enthusiastic teachers and customized approach for learners. We strive to share the joy with music across all our teachers and learners.

We are currently looking for warm and caring PIANO Teachers (Full-Time/Part-Time) to join our joyful team at our East (Parkway Centre) location.

Responsibilities

Teaching Music

• Create learning plans and prepare lessons in relation to individual students\' goals and examination syllabuses

• Prepare students for music exams, competitions, or performances

• Communicate with parents regarding student goals and progress

• Motivate students and encourage progress in the student\xe2\x80\x99s learning journey
  

Curriculum Development

• Contribute to the development and curriculum of the piano program when requested
  

Working together

• Support colleagues in creating a safe and purposeful environment conducive to outstanding learning for all students

• Attend staff meetings and teacher training sessions when requested

• Work collaboratively with other colleagues in group activities, such as camps, exam preparation, or concerts
  

Marketing & Promotions

• Assist in marketing activities related to promoting the school when requested

• You are an experienced piano teacher or you dream of becoming a piano teacher

• You hold a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in music, Diploma in Music, or Grade 8 Certificate or higher from a recognized music program such as ABRSM, RockSchool, RCM, or Trinity

• You have a bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills

• You have experience working with children, especially ECA or preschool classes

• Candidates who are currently diploma/degree students, recent graduates or career changers are all encouraged to apply
