Pilot Plant Technician: Fragrance Delivery Systems - Your future position?
Location: Singapore, Pioneer
Reporting to: Industrialisation Chemist
Main Objectives:

• Operating pilot plant level equipment for producing samples of encapsulated fragrances (liquid and powder form)
• Supervise the industrialization pilot trials at the production level (Close collaboration with the operations team)
• Support Operations on existing production technologies and provide continuous improvement ideas with the production team.
• Participate actively in the day-to-day laboratory & pilot plant management:
• Stock monitoring, maintain lab & pilot plant equipment in good condition. Good housekeeping practices.

Educational Background / Technical Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering with 0-3 years of working experience. Diploma holders with strong work experience are also encouraged to apply
• Good knowledge of different fragrance encapsulation technologies – Core-shell technology, Matrix, Complex Coacervation
• Good grasp of the different chemical analytical techniques to characterize emulsions and powders (Rheology, Particle Size Distribution, Moisture Content, etc.)
• Good knowledge of environment, health and safety practices at all levels (lab, pilot plant, production)
