: Responsibilities * The Piping Inspector cum Piping Supervisor shall perform construction supervision, site coordination and monitoring to manage and ensure all the main contractor and subcontractor's structural and piping activi : Responsibilities The Piping Inspector cum Piping Supervisor shall perform construction supervision, site coordination and monitoring to manage and ensure all the main contractor and subcontractor's structural and piping activities at site are carried out safely and according to project requirement and technical specifications. The Piping Inspector cum Piping Supervisor shall also execute site quality inspections and testing verifications for structural and piping work scope quality assurance and control. Monitoring the completion status and compliance of the structural and piping installation activities at site, highlighting criticality to safety Provide feedback on quality and schedule status to Construction Manager on daily basis Ensure appropriate review of daily Permit-to-Work (PTW) submitted by Contractors is carried out prior to approval by company Carry out construction supervision, monitoring and coordination with Contractor for all structural and piping works at site ensuring safe work practices/procedures implementation and compliance to quality and resource allocation plan and schedule. Perform site risk assessment for every task to be done during pre-task talk ensuring safe work conditions and performance on daily basis. Perform site coordination with other performing discipline for smooth and safe work interface and simultaneous operations. Ensure that work is implemented in accordance with Project Standard/ Specifications, Site Quality Plan/ITP. Document any non-conformances observed and follow-up propose resolutions for immediate closure and record. Verify and check piping materials and installation at site for conformity with quality as required per project specification, isometric and arrangement drawings Participate in all safety undertakings at site like tool-box, periodical safety drill and safety walk observation/surveillance as required. Check progress by contractor and ensuring progress is meeting project schedule Supervise, check and review of Isometric Drawing & P&ID in every system for status verification and conformity as per latest revision and update necessary for pipe spools installations, tie-ins (welding/flange connections), hot/cold tapping and the closure/golden welds details. Perform review and line check on approved system test packages for completeness, compliance and system punch list and clearing. Perform supervision on piping/mechanical works during Turn-Around, Commissioning and Start-up of the project. Responsible for ensuring all the checks required as quality checklist are carried out and found satisfactory Responsible to ensure all welding qc records are reviewed and involved in carrying out the welding quality control activities including NDE results verification and acceptance. Requirements Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent with min 5 years of working experience in Oil and Gas/Petrochemical facility construction handling structural supervision, coordination and inspection/testing for structural erection. Familiar and conversant with International Standards/Codes, such as, ACI, ASTM, BS and Singapore Code of Practice.
