Roles & Responsibilities
QC Inspector
a. Compile all QC documents for endorsement by CLIENT;
b. Perform inspection activities in his assigned works according to applicable specifications;
c. Witness all inspection and tests as specified;
d. Check calibration validity for each equipment;
e. Check and ensure correct materials are used;
f. Witness welding procedure qualification and welder performance tests;
g. Monitor correct consumable and welding parameters are used and in accordance with approved WPS;
h. Inspect and check to ensure all weld preparation are in accordance with Approved WPS and drawings;
i. Monitor to ensure latest drawings are used at all time;
j. Report any non-conformance found;
k. Prepare inspection and test record on the work evaluated;
I. Execute NDT or evaluate test results;
m. Attend technical aptitude test of skilled worker (welder, etc.) For the relevant work or evaluate the result.
n. Identify joints required for NDE and heat treatment;
o. Coordinate daily NDE, review of radiographs and its reports;
p. Prepare bi-weekly welders performance report;
