Responsibilities

• The Senior QA/QC Inspector shall have adequate experience in green field and revamp projects including Turnaround experience in Petrochemical industry and shall ensure that the Contractor Inspectors control the quality at shop and site works. He shall monitor the fabrication works with stringent implementation of quality plan/ITP, according to standards/codes in the inspection process, inspecting quality record deliverables and reporting nonconformity.
• Ensure that work is implemented in accordance with SLUP Project Specific Quality requirements.
• Prepare Quality Audit Schedule and perform audits as planned.
• Ensure the compliance of EPC Contractors and Vendor quality programs with
• QMS
• Provide Quality Leadership to the SLUP Construction Supervisors and Quality
• Inspectors in ensuring Quality compliance during implementation of inspection and testing activities
• Responsible for carrying out in-process inspection of welding activities during
• fabrication
• Witness the qualification of WPS & PQR and Welders
• Verifying welder's certifications, material certification and traceability for all
• materials and consumables being used in construction.
• Monitor the weld preparation and welding process / NDE and ongoing compilation of weld records.
• Review and validate the Radiographic Film, NDE reports for compliance and
• acceptance prior to endorsing.
• Manage nonconformances, follow-up and propose solutions for recommendation to Project Manager or Construction Superintendent.
• Review all the quality deliverables submitted by the EPC Contractors like Test Pack Documentation and quality reports comply and complete prior to handover.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Min 7-10 years of working experience preferably in Oil and Gas in Inspection and
• Testing
• Experience in fabrication, installation and testing of Oxygen Piping.
