Responsibilities

• Management and documentation of multiple stores of production (customer) key material in HSMs from several vendors, ensuring correct compliance procedures are followed and documentation is kept current.
  • Working with Product Management to perform key ceremonies for creating keys as appropriate
  • Building process documentation where it isn’t currently sufficient
• Ownership of staging key material, ensuring that relevant keys and certificates are generated for the Infra team and our internal customers (e.g. for pre-production testing)
  • Working with the Key Manager to ensure that staging key management is performed in the same manner as production keys for consistency
• Management of platform configuration relating to issuance
  • Working with the Product Management and Compliance teams to set up new issuer (CA) configuration for the sites in Singapore and UK
  • Working with the Product Management and Compliance teams to set up new product templates in our Atlas platform
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of PKI servers and appliances
  • Monitoring HSM utilisation for capacity planning purposes
  • Working with Infra team and vendors on troubleshooting HSM and PKI-related errors and issues
  • Periodic updates to HSM firmware and drivers after ensuring that new versions are compliant with relevant frameworks.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Engineering or related discipline highly preferred.
• 3 years or more experience administrating and troubleshooting Linux and/or FreeBSD systems.
• Some scripting/programming experience (bash/python/ruby/perl) would be preferable
• Demonstrable experience of basic PKI functionality (asymmetric keys, x509 certificates)
• Strong technical documentation skills, and an understanding of the importance of documentation in a compliance environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
