IMPORTANT NOTE: This posting is for a Planning and Schedule Optimization (PSO) Consultant that has extensive experience in implementing Service Management software. JOB DESCRIPTION Introduction: The Senior PSO Consultant will bridge the gap between the Customer’s business requirements and the application. The Consultant has competence to advise and guide the Customer, listen and dare to challenge in order to understand the Customer’s real needs and advise the Customer in their usage of their IFS Products. Engaged by the Customer or Partner as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific area and offers their expertise to colleagues, Partners and the Customer. The Senior Consultant enjoys the challenge of creating and communicating well thought-through practical solutions that form the basis for successful implementations, and ultimately lead to highly referenceable Customers and make the Customer more efficient and successful. About the Role:
  • Ability to leading solution teams in global transformation projects.
  • Trusted to own Customer Business Value Streams
  • Confident presenting at all levels.
  • Key role in coaching / mentoring other consultants and building networks.
  • Must be able to work with and communicate at an Executive level
  • Provide Expert Services into Partner led projects / programmes and challenge where required.
  • May act as an escalation point if required.
  • Passion for technology.

Qualifications

A Senior PSO Consultant would be expected to have an excellent understanding of the following areas:
  • Essential - 3 years' minimum experience in the Service Management domain.
  • Essential - 3 years' minimum experience in leading the implementation of IFS Planning and Schedule Optimization (PSO) Solutions.
  • Essential - Experience in working with IFS Field Service Management (FSM) and IFS Applications Solutions.
  • Knowledge of key industry drivers.
  • Ability to lead workshops e.g. possesses presentation, organizational and documentation skills
  • Project management and commercial awareness
  • An academic background with a Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Engineering, Business or IT (or equivalent education or experience).
  • Experience delivering Service Management projects in a relevant industry setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Take lead of solution teams in scoping of of a project solution in conjunction with a Solution Architect.
  • Trusted advisor of articulating and critically evaluating customer-specific business process maps.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Expert of data analysis and problem solving.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally where required. Up to 75% travel is typical for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
